An international nominating committee that consists of eleven world-renowned experts in geotechnical engineering has been established for the nomination and the selection of the lecturer. The committee follows a strict nomination and selection process for determining the lecturer, including (1) nominating candidates for the lecturer, (2) evaluating the candidates based on their academic contributions, and (3) making a final decision of the lecturer.
